The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made a strong denunciation regarding the funds for road construction in Albania during the 12 years of Edi Rama's government. Berisha, invited to the studio of 'Çim Peka Live' on SYRI TV, referred to the public denunciations of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj and stressed that Albanians will be horrified when they learn the truth about the funds for road construction, as about 90% of them have been stolen. Among other things, the Chief Democrat stressed that the media is censoring me in a barbaric way.

Berisha: Absolutely it will be removed. Tolls will be removed and there will be none on any road. We have built 11 thousand km of roads with the budget and financing from partner banks. The loans have been incorporated into the budget. They bargain with the builders for tolls on the roads. When Albanians find out the truth about the tolls, they will be shocked, when they find out the truth about the roads, they will be horrified.

Berisha: 90% of the funds for the roads may have been stolen. These are unimaginable. Take the Llogara tunnel, Slovenia comes with an offer of 130 million, Gjoka goes with 140 million euros and the Turk wins with 190 million euros, so they steal 50 million with one hand and Gjoka builds it.
