The residents of Hotolisht "explode" against Balluk: Let's go

Residents of the village of Hotolisht in Librazhd have held another protest today, expressing their dissatisfaction with the lack of response of the Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, regarding the Corridor VIII project.

The protesters are demanding that the land be expropriated at market prices and an alternative tunnel be built to avoid damaging the historic site and surrounding environment. They emphasize that their proposal would allow the road to be built without harming the village's community and cultural heritage.

According to residents, Balluku has consistently refused to dialogue with them and ignored requests for a direct meeting, further adding to the dissatisfaction and tension in the area.

" We will go to the end, we will come to give them answers, they say, nothing in sight. The works continue. What are we waiting for? We must stand up. Let's go and grab the minister by the throat. With what right does she come here? In which country in the world is a road project being carried out and not an entire village is visible ," he said.
