Berisha: His ministers dress up like princesses, while Albanians are told that pensioners live well on 140 euros

Berisha: His ministers dress up like princesses, while Albanians are told that

Opposition Leader Sali Berisha accused the Rama government of luxury and disregard for citizens, mocking ministers who “dress up like princesses” and claim that pensioners live well on 140 euros. He deeply criticized poverty, lack of dignity and the massive departure of young people. Berisha promised that within the first 100 days of government, he would guarantee a living wage of 200 euros for every citizen and pensioner, a minimum wage of 500 euros, an average wage of 1250 euros, and a 20% discount on basic food for the poor through the consumer card.

Berisha : Dear friends, Tropoja, in the not-so-distant past, was burned and burned within a short period of time, several times. The people of Tropoja have moved to other areas, but have returned with lightning speed, have rebuilt their homes and the boundless love for Tropoja has returned here.
Therefore, we strongly believe in these values and will do everything for their return.

Our program is the elimination within 100 days of misery, extreme poverty from Tropoja and all of Albania.
These governments who are light years away from you, away from your troubles, away from your problems, away from your lifestyle, and who waste away every day in the luxury created by the money they have stolen, they do not want to care about you.
You have heard, I believe, an expression that comes from the depths of time and according to which here no one dies for bread. And I say this because, truly no one died for bread, because people shared their morsels with each other. This was generosity, this was charity of the soul.

But governments, ministers who declare that in Albania it is good because no one dies for bread, are not words that do not deserve to be said. It is not about people dying for bread, but about people living with dignity. It is about people not counting their food. It is about those men and women who have sacrificed their lives for Tropoja, have sacrificed their lives for Albania, not to be afraid that they will not be able to finish the 15-day period with the pension it gives them.
It is about those men and women who have sacrificed their lives for Albania, not to reach for medicine because they will be left without medicine because they cannot get it with their pension.
It is about these young people, these children, being able to build their beautiful Albanian dream in Albania, and not dreaming about how to escape abroad and leave Tropoja and Albania.
So, it is completely different. And
these people, they commit an act of contempt towards Albanians because, here, no one dies for bread.
Or the other, his ministers, who adorn themselves as if they are princesses of sultanates. They tell Albanians that what pensioners have, pensioners live very well. That, with 140 euros, one lives normally, one lives very well.
So, this situation, this departure from citizens due to looting, because the thief hates the victim to justify his loot. I did good to them, he says.
And they, I did good to you, they say.
Friends, the first 100 days, we give a final answer, every Albanian will receive 200 euros as the living wage.
Today, 560 thousand pensioners have a pension of 172 euros. That everyone, without exception, no matter how much they have, 60, 100, 170, will receive 200 euros, the first 100 days of our government.
Not only that.
But we will set the minimum wage at 500 euros, the average wage at 1250 euros. For low-income earners and pensioners, the consumer card. They will get everything, bread, milk, meat, all food, basic things, 20% cheaper than others.
So, friends, we return to Albanians the money they pay, but along with it their dignity, because poverty is the worst, it is in itself a kind of tyranny that crushes the soul, the human mind, and we put an end to it.
