36-year-old arrested in Mamurras for carrying Kalashnikov and ammunition in apartment

A 36-year-old man has been arrested by police in Mamurras, after an automatic firearm and ammunition were discovered during a search of his apartment. Citizen Ermal Llozhi was arrested as part of the police operation codenamed "Information", conducted by the Kurbin Police Commissariat, based on information received from police intelligence.
During the surprise raid on his apartment, officers found and seized a Kalashnikov, a magazine of cartridges, and combat ammunition, which were taken as material evidence.
Police announced that the firearm will undergo an examination at the Scientific Police Institute to determine whether it was used in any previous criminal events.
The 36-year-old is charged with the criminal offense of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", while the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office of General Jurisdiction in Lezha for further investigations.
