Vangjeli: Rama's patrons have been appointed by the CEC as independent observers in the May 11 elections

The DP has accused the CEC of including SP patrons in the list of independent observers for the May 11 parliamentary elections.

In a statement to the media from the blue headquarters, Anti-Corruption Spokesperson Genta Vangjeli said that in open violation of election standards, observers who are presumed to be independent appear completely biased by campaigning for the Socialist Party, including on social networks.

Vangjeli emphasizes that the Democratic Party is verifying the names of all so-called independent observers, announcing that all identified cases will be urgently referred to the investigative bodies.

Statement by the Anti-Corruption Spokesperson in the Democratic Party, Genta Vangjeli:

The State Election Commissioner, after reviewing the requests, has issued the respective decisions for the accreditation of election process observers.

The DP's suspicion of placing the names of patronage supporters of the Rama government in the lists of names of observers accredited by the State Election Commissioner.

How is it possible that these characters are even allowed into international organizations, which are the guarantee of elections, trust, and certification?

In clear violation of election standards, observers who are presumed to be independent appear completely biased and even campaign for the SP publicly on social networks.
