The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, at the closing electoral meeting in Has of the DP-ASHM, thanked the residents for their support for the opposition.

He urged them to vote for the change on May 11, with the aim of stopping the desertification of lands, the scourge of our society.

Berisha : Dear citizens of Has, brothers and sisters, first of all, I would like to humble myself with the greatest respect and the most boundless gratitude to you, for your extraordinary support, but above all for your loyalty to the most achieved moral values of man and society.

Dear Mayor, Myftar Dauti, Mr. Chairman of the party.
Honorable candidates of Greater Albania for the Kukës district, dignified representatives of Kukës, Has, Tropoja, true pride for the PD, for the inhabitants of this district and all of Albania.
Friends, I come here as a representative of a conservative party that translated into Albanian means a party of traditions, traditional and tradition nowhere more in Albanian lands, than what is embedded in your soul and heart, does not exist better.
In this regard, the entire project I have for Has and Albania is based entirely on the greatness of your spirit, your morals, your beliefs, your values.
Has is the land of men and women, boys and girls with dignity, high integrity, with outstanding honesty. Of ardent patriots, of true family members, of exemplary citizens.
Therefore, I come here with the greatest conviction that Has today, for a series of reasons, is not the place it should be, it is the place from which its sons and daughters are once again leaving.
It is the place from which the beautiful dreams of Hasians are not built in Has, but here the dream, this regime exports them to other lands.
I come from Tropoja, a peer of Odeta's declared there, we were 32 friends, of whom today we are only 3.
So as you patriotic, honest people see, there is something that is emptying Albania, there is something that is desolating our lands. There is something that is leaving this nation without youth.
620 thousand young people have left in the last 10 years. From 2019 onwards, we have many more deaths than births. And recently the UN declared that Albanians have the lowest birth rate in the world, due to emigration.
Now for every Albanian, patriot, Hasjane and Hasjane wherever you are, these are the sirens, the calls that come from the depths of the soul of this nation, from the depths of this land.
On May 11, let us vote for change, on May 11, let us vote for a new era, for a new chapter, for a new history, of Has and of Albania, to separate ourselves from this great evil that impoverished Albanians from year to year.
Friends, I want to remind you a little here: if in the communist dictatorship, poverty was brought to us by hyper-collectivization, in the new criminal dictatorship of Edi Rama, poverty is brought by theft, robbery, and plunder of citizens.
