The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting with the residents of Maqellara this Monday, just six days before the crucial elections of May 11. 

In a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere, Berisha expressed deep gratitude for the continued support that the residents of the area have given to his cause and to the Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania.

In his speech, Berisha focused on one of the most serious wounds of Albanian society, mass emigration. He emphasized that Albanians, and especially the residents of Maqellara, are hardworking and honest people who have been forced to leave the country due to the poverty and lack of hope created by the current regime.

At the end of his speech, the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, called on citizens to participate massively in the May 11 elections and to give a clear message through their vote for a fairer Albania, with opportunities for all and with young people who do not leave the country.
