Scandal/ Eduart Shalsi campaigns inside the Kukës police station

A scandalous case comes from Kukës, after the political leader of the Socialist Party, Eduart Shalsi, who is also the candidate for deputy of this political force, was photographed inside the premises of the Kukës Police Directorate, at the height of the electoral campaign for May 11.

Lapsi.al has published photos of Shalsi appearing as a political representative in police premises without any legal or institutional explanation, other than as an act of pressure on officers for the vote.

According to sources on the ground, socialist leaders have gathered police officers, holding a meeting for electoral purposes, in open violation of the election law and the Code of Ethics in Public Administration.

This action places an ugly stain on the police, which, as a depoliticized force, cannot be used for campaigning and voter orientation.
