The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, in a meeting with the residents of Elbasan, took a strong stance against attempts to influence the electoral process by elements linked to crime and power.

Addressing the citizens present, Noka declared that on May 11, Elbasan will rise up to give a well-deserved lesson to the "barbarians of power" and to show every representative of criminal structures that the city is not and will never be a hostage to violence, fear and gangs.

He directly accused Suel Çela, whom he described as a "bandit leader" and accused him of open attempts to interfere in the elections, through pressure on commissioners and support for a "political corpse."

According to Noka, any attempt to intimidate or manipulate opposition representatives constitutes not only a legal violation, but also a moral crime against democracy.

"There is a majority that is eagerly awaiting May 11, to give a lesson to the barbarians of power, to give a message to the thieves of power, to give a message to the chief bandit Suel Çela that Elbasan is not held by violence, that Elbasan is not held by gangs, and to say: Hands off the democrats. Hands off Suel, because there will be no dark cell that will hold you."

Forget about threatening the Democrats. Don't try to call either the commissioners or the Democrats because you are committing a crime worse than the crimes you have committed. The Democratic Party will not forgive you for what you are doing.

You are supporting a "political dead man". You are supporting a "political corpse" so I am telling you that Edi Rama is in his political agony. You will continue in that direction with him. There is no chance that the Democrats of Elbasan or the opposition of Elbasan will back down from the threats of gangs and organized crime. We are determined to move towards victory on May 11.
