Zelensky: There was no agreement on occupied territories of Ukraine during talks
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that US-Ukraine talks in Riyadh on Sunday did not produce any agreement on Ukrainian territory occupied by Russia.

He told reporters in Kiev today that "there has been no agreement with us on the territory. They know this is a sensitive issue. I have spoken about this from the beginning," CNN writes .

The president said that the issue of a complete ceasefire and the issue of occupied territories would be the most difficult point for the Russians.

On Saturday, US special envoy Steve Witkoff said the biggest obstacle to resolving Russia's war in Ukraine is the status of Crimea and four mainland regions of Ukraine occupied by Russia.

He told podcast host Tucker Carlson that the territory had become the "elephant in the room" during negotiations.
