The arrest of Meta, Rama: I do not comment, I have left it to you to treat him

Prime Minister Edi Rama was asked about the arrest of former President Ilir Meta.

Invited to the show "Opinion", Rama replied that he has no comment on the subjects with which justice deals.

“You've found the wrong person to ask this question to. I have no comment. It is a subject with which justice deals, I have no comment ", said Rama.


Asked about the method of arrest by police officers, Rama replied that the State Police does not depend on him. According to the head of the government, the shows are treating the former president as a victim.

"The State Police does not depend on me. I don't run the State Police. The State Police has leaders, there are protocols, there are operations that are built on the basis of these protocols. And I do not comment on a subject of justice. I left it to you to treat him as a victim in the shows, day and night",  he said.
