Prime Minister Edi Rama declares in a conversation with the citizens of Tirana that the Port of Durres will be one of the most luxurious in the Mediterranean after the investments that according to him are expected to come from Dubai.

According to Rama, this investment will bring incalculable income, and consequently other foreign investors will be absorbed.

"The project of the port of Durrës will affect the national economy, because it will create income that we do not have today. With his transfer to one of the most luxurious in the Mediterranean, the income that will come to the country will be incalculable, because it is not a direct effect, but employment will be created, how many tourists will come, and will keep a chain of services standing, but also how many others will be withdrawn from Albania " , said Rama. 

Some will say we should go invest, after investing from Dubai. "Until a few years ago, we could not talk about investors of this level, because they did not offer any guarantees and trust", says Rama, although two days ago the German Association of Industry and Trade in Albania (DIHA) published data that  German businesses are skeptical to invest in Albania and the reason was legal certainty and transparency.

" German and foreign companies continue to often express their skepticism about the business environment in Albania. They ask if they can find enough legal certainty and transparency here. And I agree: Despite many efforts, there is a need to take further steps in order to improve the investment climate and the country's economic development to move forward.

Legal security and transparency are crucial here. The continuation of justice and administration reform continues to be crucial for democracy, the economy and European integration. In this way, Albania can continue to have confidence in the support of Germany " , it was said in the conclusions of the German association, a virtual meeting attended by the German ambassador in Tirana, Peter Zingraf.
