After two days in the US, Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted to a visit aimed at providing the anti-covid vaccine. The latter, through a post on Facebook, posted a photo with Pfeizer boss Albert Burla, as he went through a positive meeting.

"The positive meeting with Pfizer boss Albert Burla, at the headquarters of the vaccine manufacturing company in New York, concluded our communications of this research visit to secure the vaccine for Albania - an extraordinary challenge in the face of a dizzying global demand," he wrote. Rama.

The Prime Minister says that production is still much lower than world demand.

While emphasizing that Albania's goal is to start vaccination in the first two months of 2021, Rama says that in addition to the newly opened channel for the Pfeizer vaccine, we will continue to open the channels for the Moderna and Astrazeneca vaccines.
