Indictment of SPAK, Berisha: They brought the charity of my son-in-law and daughter as proof of corruption
The leader of the opposition, Sali Berisha, continued with the publication of the evidence on which SPAK raised the charge of passive corruption.
From the conference with journalists, Berisha stated that SPAK used the charity of his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi and daughter Argita Malltezi as an accusation for corruption.
Berisha added that both have donated money to children with autism, whose names SPAK made public without the knowledge of the persons.
Berisha: Thus, in their indictment, the mercenary trio of Edi Rama's private prosecution have brought as evidence of my passive corruption, the charitable help that my son-in-law and daughter, Jamarbër and Argita Malltezi have given every year by paying through the bank, i.e. with money taxed, to some needy families the expenses for the treatment of their autistic children in the regional autism center in Albania, of the "Albanian Children" Foundation, whose leader is Liri Berisha.
In their indictment, the monsters of our children claim that Argita and Jamarbër Malltezi have corrupted me and Liri Berisha because they have annually paid the fee for the treatment of autistic children of some families who could not pay it since the year 2010 to 2022, and in total this couple has contributed about 118 thousand euros.
It is never customary to publicly thank family members, but I cannot stop without thanking Abi and Argita with great gratitude because they have kept and continued the noblest tradition of Albanians, generosity and charity, which has at times had the highest evaluations.
