The Chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has officially submitted to the Assembly the request for a debate in the Assembly on the developments in Kosovo and the adoption of a Resolution on this situation.

Yesterday, the Assembly of Kosovo adopted a Resolution on the terrorist attack of September 24, where it not only condemns the attack, but also requires the commitment of the institutions to request an international investigation.

" In the evaluation of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, fully supporting the work of the police and state institutions of Kosovo for the preservation of their territorial integrity and the functioning of the rule of law in every part of the territory of Kosovo, we consider that it is necessary that the Assembly of Albania should join the position of the Assembly of Kosovo, by adopting the same resolution and unifying the position between our two states "- states the request submitted by Gazment Bardhi.

The draft resolution states that the Assembly of Albania offers full and unreserved support to Kosovo and its institutions, in the exercise of responsibility for maintaining order and public safety in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as supports all the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo that to continue the joint work for full integration and coexistence between all communities, without distinction, living in the Republic of Kosovo.

Following the request of the Kosovo authorities, for an international investigation against Serbia, the Resolution proposed by the DP Parliamentary Group asks the Albanian government to undertake any initiative or initiative necessary in this direction, fulfilling the constitutional obligation to protect rights of the Albanian people living outside its borders.

Based on the above, including some contradictory positions that contradict the interest of Kosovo, on the part of the Prime Minister of Albania, considering this an important moment for the developments in Kosovo, in support of Article 98 and 99 of the Regulation of Assembly, we present this motion with the aim of holding a debate in the Assembly on the position of the Albanian state in relation to the developments in Kosovo and the approval of the Resolution for the condemnation of the terrorist attack of September 24", - the request states .
