Berisha on the protest: Rama's narco-cracy shook from its foundations

In a statement to the media, the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, thanks the citizens participating in the protest held yesterday on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, as according to him they demonstrated the highest degree of civic responsibility and undertook to rise above all the difficulties that the weather undoubtedly created. The democratic leader says that yesterday the citizens protested for the free vote and political rotation.

Berisha declares that yesterday the narco-cracy of Edi Rama and the foundations of the hated nomenclature of this apparatus of Edi Rama, an instrument of his personal power, were shaken from their foundations.

According to the democratic leader, even the skeptics, even the most zealous critics of the opposition and flatterers of the regime, were speechless before the unprecedented tsunami of Albanian citizens in the streets and squares of Tirana.

Berisha invites the citizens to continue this democratic battle, which according to him is decisive not only for the fate of the DP and the opposition, but also for Albania.

Statement by the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha

Dear citizens, in this message I want to express my most boundless gratitude. My greatest respect to all those men and women, young and old, who gathered in extraordinary conditions, united yesterday in a manifestation, in an extraordinary protest. In a real tsunami never seen in the nation's capital. Each of you demonstrated the highest degree of civic responsibility. You took it upon yourself to rise above all the difficulties that the weather undoubtedly created yesterday and these days. You came to Mejdan Square to protest against an existential catastrophe that threatens Albania, its emptying, emptying by the regime of Edi Rama, more than any other invasion in history. You came out in your protest for free suffrage and rotation. Yesterday was the day of the great faith of the Albanians to return the free vote, the rotation, to Albania. To free Albania from this savage invader who is driving Albanians out of Albania every day. It is impoverishing them, robbing them terribly and humiliating them. To make possible the rotation, the return of the opposition to power, the return of democracy, the return of the rule of law, the integration of Albania in the EU.

Dear friends, the message of the priest was as grand, as gigantic as the protest. Yesterday, Edi Rama's narco-cracy shook from its foundations. Yesterday, the hated nomenclature of this apparatus of Edi Rama, an instrument of his personal power, shook from its foundations. Yesterday even the skeptics, even the most zealous critics of the opposition and flatterers of the regime, were speechless before the unprecedented tsunami of Albanian citizens in the streets and squares of Tirana. We opened the door to a new, difficult, vital and decisive battle for the liberation and salvation of Albania, the return of free voting, rotation and democracy in Albania. With Edi Rama, there are not and cannot be free elections, he is a ferocious enemy of the vote and of the Albanian being itself. Therefore, as a civilized people, we must go towards technical government, rotation of power and free vote.

From the bottom of my heart, the warmest thanks, the most boundless gratitude, but my invitation to continue this democratic battle and democrats, this battle is decisive not only for the fate of the Democratic Party and the opposition, this battle is decisive for the fate of Albania, Albanian Democracy. Will we save our beloved land or will we sign Edi Rama's mandate in unfair elections to complete the existential catastrophe he has undertaken against Albanians.

I am fully convinced that we are ready for any sacrifice in a battle without return, for the creation of a technical government, free elections, the rotation of power, the return of democracy in Albania.
