As he was asked about the legal deadlines for taking the oath of the mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri, Vangjel Dule said that there is no legal provision that leads the procedure to the end of the mandate.
He emphasized that Beleri will lead the municipality until 2027.
"I would like to tell you that there is no legal deadline that limits Mr. Beleri from taking the oath from the moment he expressed his desire, from the first moment to respond to the law and the Constitution. As a result, from the moment that Mr. Beleri for no moment refused to take the oath, there is no legal provision that leads the procedure to the end of the mandate. Mr. Beleri is the elected mayor of the Municipality and as such he will lead it and his mandate ends like all other mayors in 2027" , declared Dule.
