Endrit Braimllari resigns as vice president of the Freedom Party

Endrit Braimllari has resigned as vice president of the Freedom Party. He made this fact public through a letter distributed on Facebook.

Through a letter addressed to the National Steering Committee, Brahimllari says that he is resigning due to internal factors and in the conditions of the impossibility to perform the function of the vice president of the party.

He thanks Monika Kryemadhi, who, according to him, was at the forefront of an opposition action in the position of chairperson.

He is also grateful to Ilir Meta for the opportunities he has given him in these years.

 

Endri Braimllari's letter:

I resign from the position of Vice President of the Freedom Party.

I thank all the members of the party for the support they have given me in these 19 years.

Dear members of the National Steering Committee, I am addressing you as the institution that has elected me to the position of vice president of the Freedom Party. We have been together with some of you for 19 years. Together, we have gone through various challenges and battles, difficult and good times, but what has brought us together has been cooperation, solidarity and team spirit.     

I take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you, every founder and fellow traveler of our political action.

In these 19 years, time had no meaning for us, the hours and days flew by quickly, in organization, in meetings and in the campaign. We have met early mornings, late dinners, staying up all sleepless nights to advance our fundamental issues. These 19 years have been a fantastic experience, where we grew up within the structures of the Socialist Movement for Integration. We were guided by the feeling and thought of being a family, where for the most part we sacrificed and stood at the forefront of every battle.

As I was writing this letter, I remembered the first day when I started the commitment in the Socialist Movement for Integration. At that time I was a 16-year-old high school student full of energy, passion and dreams for the future. Today, after 19 years, I am the father of two daughters and now I can understand that all our sacrifice has fallen on the family and we all owe a lot to her for the incredible support.

Work in these 19 years has introduced me to many members and sympathizers from south to north, from east to west, and in each of them I have felt a maximum commitment, where unlike other political forces what motivated us was the positive energy of the team and the strength our common to face every battle.

During 19 years, I held high positions in the party.

I thank the president Ilir Meta for the opportunity given over the years.

Në të gjitha funksionet e mia jam udhëhequr nga fryma e bashkëpunimit, solidaritetit dhe meritokracisë. Kam vlerësuar punën në terren dhe komunikimin e përditshëm si një mundësi për të mbajtur kontaktet me gjithsecilin prej jush dhe për të ndarë sëbashku problemet tona të familjes politike por jo vetëm. Në shumë raste kam qenë ekuilibrues i problemeve tona të brendshme, me bindjen maksimale që në parti duhen të gjithë dhe partia është e të gjithëve.

Ndihem krenar, që si kryetar i forumit Rinor i dhamë jetë një aksioni ku me mijëra të rinj në të gjithë Shqipërinë e kthyem LRI-në në organizatën më të fortë rinore në vend dhe më gjerë. Puna jonë me rininë në të gjithë Shqipërinë na afroi më shumë me njëri tjetrin duke u bërë një strukturë solide.

Me kënaqësinë më të madhe them se sot shumë bashkudhëtarë të forumit rinor vijojnë të japin kontributin e tyre në parti.

Në memorien time, viti 2008 ka qenë dhe do të jetë i paharruar pasi beteja për mbrojtjen e Kushtetues ishte e drejtë. Së bashku me mijëra të rinj, na u desh të protestonim për ditë të tëra dhe të shpërndanim derë më derë, kauzën tonë të drejtë.

Viti 2017 për mua dhe për të gjithë ju, na përballi me një sfidë të vështirë, ku një pjesë zgjodhi pushtetin, ne vazhduam opozitën.

U përballëm në një betejë të fortë ekzistenciale për vendin, parlamentarizmin dhe vetë opozitën.

Aty qartazi, u treguan qëndrestarët e vërtetë që nuk panë interesin personal por u udhëhoqën nga interesi i përbashkët për të forcuar partinë në një opozitë të fortë,  duke treguar një bosht të fortë të qëndresës opozitare.

Në 6 vite, që kam mbajtur detyrën e Sekretarit të Përgjithshëm të LSI, bashkë me shumë kolegë i dhamë ritëm partisë dhe opozitës duke u bërë një zë i fortë i mbrojtjes së interesit qytetar në Parlament dhe në rrugë. Kemi organizuar me qindra protesta kombëtare dhe lokale.

Nuk mund të harroj, mbi 10-tra protesta kombëtare, mbi dy vite protesta tek Unaza e Re, ku çdo ditë unë me disa kolegë u angazhuam personalisht në mbrojtje të banorëve. E paharruar për mua është protesta e banorëve të Kukësit ku me shumë kolegë u zhvendosëm atje në mbrojtje të interesit qytetar, protesta në mbrojtje të Teatrit Kombëtar ku u kthye në një betejë të vërtetë qytetare.

Nuk mund të harroj orët e panumërta, në komisariate policie, prokurori dhe gjykata në mbështetje të qytetarëve që besuan dhe u bashkuan me kauzën e opozitës dhe për këtë motiv dhunoheshin nga pushteti.

Për këtë periudhë, dua të falënderoj Monika Kryemadhin e cila në detyrën e kryetares ishte në ballë të këtij aksioni dhe pse në momentet tona më të vështira, duke i dhënë zemër dhe ritëm aksionit tonë opozitarë.

Në zgjedhjet e përgjithshme të vitit 2021, mora përgjegjësinë e drejtuesit politik për Qarkun Korçë.

Political and non-political circumstances make it impossible to get the mandate in this district. I personally did my best, I gave all my contribution and experience in an unprecedented campaign. I was the first in the battle and in the daily denunciations against the abuse of power. For me, the team comes first. The sublime sacrifice of those who supported LSI in the Korça district deserved and will always have my support. For me and today, that campaign continues to have its cost, wandering through the doors of the courts on endless legal proceedings politically launched against me by political opponents during the campaign. But I feel proud even today that I believed in a young team, which did not disappoint and is promising for the future.

Dear member of the National Steering Committee, finding it impossible to perform the function of the party's vice president, due to internal factors, I have decided to resign from this function.

I am the first to take a few steps back to show that unity with each other is important to me.

I will continue with maximum dedication my commitment as a local elected member of the Tirana municipal council to be the voice of the citizens and to protect their rights, to create chances and opportunities for every citizen of Tirana.
