The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented on the elections for the mayor of Himara.

Berisha : Dear resistance fighters, missionaries and missionaries of our just cause, the cause of every Albanian, of hope, faith, freedom and the national interest of the Albanian nation.

My friends, late last night the ugly election farce in Himare was closed, in which Edi Rama revealed all the mechanisms of the execution of the vote without voting, without falling into the box.
Thanking all those voters, citizens who voted for the opposition, I declare today to the opposition people that Himara should be our last test.
Himara should be the call for every Albanian citizen that with Edi Rama there are not and can never be free elections.
Dear friends, it is not even a merit to declare this today.
It is not worthy to declare that Edi Rama stole the mandate.
It is not worthy to state that he denied the constitutional rights of 6135 citizens.
It is not worthy to state that he added to the lists over 350-400 citizens who have never voted in Himara.
It is not meritorious to state that he used the entire electoral criminal state to rob Himara's mandate.
Not friends.
Today, the call of every Albanian is for the Albanian opposition to join in a powerful peaceful uprising for the realization of the technical government, free elections, and the victory of the opposition.
