DP Presidency member Bellin Këlliçi commented again on the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj.

Invited to Syri TV, he said that Veliaj cannot face justice just as a thief, but must account for the 130 million euro affair and that the Tirana incinerator deserves an answer.

It is a 130 million euro affair, the Tirana incinerator that deserves to have an answer and deserves to go to the end of that file, and it is the '5 D' file that deserves to be its head. The special prosecution should come out and say, is Erion Veliaj responsible for this or not. We are not backing down a single millimeter, and why today the most banal thief that the capital of Albania may have ever had, such as Erion Veliaj, was arrested.
