The model of the free man in price versus the model of the free man in spirit

Politics is an emblem of confrontation because it does not only confront individuals, it confronts models, forces, emotions, strategies, projects, and visions.

Politics collides the reality of the present with the alternative of the future. The politician prepares for all these confrontations by projecting himself in his imagination, often in battles that have not yet been fought.

During my political journey, I have thought hundreds, perhaps thousands of times about the day when I would have direct responsibility in confronting the regime. I have hoped and expected that one day I would stand before the people who are destroying our country, our home, our family.

When I was appointed Political Director in Branch 1 in Tirana, I thought it was time to directly apply the principles and theories that I had developed over the years, alone or as part of the Brain Gain Department. But the battle we have ahead is more than that. It is the battle of two incompatible worlds.

In Branch 1, I and the citizens of Tirana face the regime's Minister of Interior, who is assisted by his PSD ally, the latter of whom, without political activity, has secured the highest result in that area in the Tirana district. An overrepresented phantom party and the leading hand of the regime's repressive force.

By electing its representatives, the regime seeks to use as its only card the emotion of fear, the fear of violence that weakens the spirit and exposes it until it sells the vote, sells itself, and destroys the future.

They were wrong, because we are not for sale, we are not afraid, we are not victims, we are not complex. The regime that descends physically and symbolically into the branch where I am delegated! How much strength it gives me, how much strength it gives us!

It gives us strength because what they don't know is that if there is a clash that survives even these conditions of doing politics under the pressure of the regime, it is that of models and emotions.

This is where our strength begins. They prepare the ground of fear, we create together the ground of hope. Hope breaks fear. They come with the model of the strong in terror, arrogance, oppression. We are there with the model of the Albanian of work, of family, of sacrifice. Our model breaks them again.

It is undoubtedly the honor of a lifetime to lead the Democrats in this confrontation, which the conditions make a battle for history. It is my great responsibility and that of the Democrats of Branch 1 to develop it as such, worthy of history. We must walk in this battle with our heads held high, strong and proud of who we are, of the strength we embody in the face of an opponent who knows no principles, rules, or morals of battle.

Our pride and courage stem from the belief that we are the right force at the right time. Our message is the message of an Albania that finds strength not in fear, but in hope and optimism. The regime's model is that of the free man in price. We will show that our model, the only one for Albania, is that of the free man in spirit.
