Took the post of vice-chairman of the Freedom Party, Agim Nesho tells why he joined Meta

Agim Nesho, to whom Ilir Meta entrusted the post of vice-chairman of the Freedom Party, has shown the reasons why he joined this political force.

In a post on Facebook, Nesho writes that he chose the Freedom Party at a time when Rama and his people are trying to propagate that there is no other solution but the Socialist Party.

Among the arguments, Nesho emphasizes that Ilir Meta represents a strong character, determination and vision for the future. While the SP with Rama, according to him, has remained a house without a master, captured by a clique whose interests are unlimited power and abuse of public wealth.

"As a statesman, Ilir Meta created the architecture of the new Albanian diplomacy, increasing Albania's role with a dignified foreign policy of good neighborliness and strengthening ties with the West. Mr. Rama personalized this policy for protagonism and put himself in the position of Erdoğan's vassal and Vucic's servant to the point of compromising the national issue in the interest of Serbian-Russian projects such as the Open Balkans," writes Nesho.

The regime's gigantic propaganda machine no longer has arguments to defend the bankrupt government, but has launched an attack with disinformation, with serious falsifications, being ready to destroy the history of Albanian democracy. They insist that there is no alternative, but the alternatives are before our eyes.

Coming from the left I have made my solution without any equivocation. Ilir Meta has grown as a freedom and democracy fighter since the beginning of the student movement in 1990. He came to the Socialist Party with a group of brave students to change and transform this Party, when everyone was leaving. He showed character, courage and grew as a new leader in the country's battles, in making the new Constitution, in defense of the Kosovo issue and the integration of Albania into the European Union as soon as possible. His strong character, determination and vision for the future make him not only a leader of the modern Albanian left, but also a dedicated state leader.

Si shtetar Ilir Meta krijoi arkitekturën e diplomacisë së re Shqiptare, duke i rritur rolin Shqipërisë me një politikë të jashtme dinjitoze të fqinjësisë së mirë dhe forcuar lidhjet me Perëndimin. Zoti Rama e personalizoi këtë politikë për protagonizëm dhe e vuri veten në pozicionin e vasalit të Erdoganit dhe shërbëtorit të Vucic deri në kompromentimin e cështjes kombëtare për interes të projekteve serbo-ruse si Ballkani i Hapur.

Rama mban me thonj pushtetin duke përdorur administratën civile, patronazhistët, duke u bërë klientelist i vendeve të tjera, ndërsa Meta është larguar nga pushteti kur ka parë se vendit i duhet një Mision i Ri si në vitin 2004 dhe 2022. Sot Rama i ka humbur identitetin Partisë Socialiste, ndërsa Ilir Meta po ngre alternativën e re.

Faith in leadership is constantly being created and people fall victim to rampant propaganda. As for myself, as a participant in the March 2 movement, I did not go to Ilir Meta. It was Meta who returned to March 2 to lead the country towards a consolidated democracy, in compliance with the Constitution and the restoration of the will of the people in governance, having in the program of the Freedom Party the necessity for the realization of the Referendum as the biggest guarantee of the Sovereign to protect democracy and restore accountability.
