"There is no Summit without protest", Berisha: We will follow the

The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, has spoken again about the protest of December 6, the same day when the EU-Western Balkans summit takes place.

In a meeting with residents of Unit No. 7 in Tirana, Berisha said that there is no summit without protest. According to him, Albanians should follow the example of the free citizens of France, Italy, England, the USA, Germany, because the protest proves that nothing can defeat their right to be heard.

Berisha : These events are protests, I would call them more European that the Albanians have organized after December 1991, a protest in which the opposition people will be involved in the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" in a great mission, to represent there, the commitment, the appreciation, the attitude towards the values of democracy and European ones.

People who have respect for their freedom, their dignity, their rights, use protest as their voice. They use the protest to prove that nothing can defeat their right to be heard.

People who are frightened, afraid, choose silence, comfort themselves with what I need and continue in the orbit of oppressed people.

We are not like that. We will follow the example of the free citizens of France, Italy, England, the USA, Germany and any other country who at every summit of the leaders of Europe or the world, despite the fact that they enjoy liberties and rights incomparably more than us are in protest.

There is no summit without protest. Such things happen only in dictatorial countries where protests are forbidden, where dictators gather and do not smoke anything.

Edi Rama is doing everything to create this picture in Albania as well, but we will never allow it. We will be in the big and small square.
