The Democratic Party, the first opposition force in Albania, celebrated the 34th anniversary of its founding tonight.

An event at the Tirana Hotel was attended by President Sali Berisha, members of the Parliamentary Group, political leaders from across the country, and hundreds of sympathizers.

On the 34th anniversary of its founding, Berisha delivered a welcoming speech at the ceremony organized for this important day for all Albanian democrats and not only.

Berisha made a chronological list of events and personalities that brought about the long-awaited change in Albania.

Berisha also promised that the return of the Democratic Party to power for the third time will be the true white destiny of the Albanians. 'With this, it must be said that we are at the key point of our battle. Our bad days are already in the past. Our battle to save the opposition was over, we won that battle. Now we are in the battle to save Albania,' Berisha emphasized at the ceremony of the 34th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Party.

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, assured the democrats that Albanians, internationals and God are with them. At the end of his speech at the ceremony marking the 34th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Party, Berisha called on citizens to come out and join the democrats and the opposition in the most powerful civil disobedience on December 23.
