The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, expressed optimism at the meeting of the National Council of the DP.

He said that this is the last September that PD is in the opposition because in 2025 it takes power. 

"This is the last September that finds us in the opposition. DP takes power in 2025. Rotation cannot and will not be delayed any longer. The rotation is in our hands, in our courage, our sacrifice and there is no other option.

I say this because we have entered the 9th month before the final electoral battle. In 9 months we have the final confrontation against the evil that in 11 years annihilated the real electoral process, looted, humiliated and expelled Albanians en masse.

I say this that every democrat and democrat from now on, when they ask for the vote of the DP, the democrats must see their conviction for victory in their eyes.

Democrats need to be heard in their voice of conviction for victory. Democrats should read in their hearts, conviction for victory. Democrats should be read in the body, conviction for victory.

Today, more than ever, victory rests in our courage, faith and hands.

These years have hurt the PD quite a bit, this cannot be denied. The truth is that these years with the attack that was done to us, we have fought more in defense than in attack. We had to protect our flag, our program, the political pluralism that was giving life to Albania, we had to protect the Albanian opposition.

But today this battle is over, the reality is completely new, the conditions have changed. Today we are united. Today we are the DP of Albania, stronger than ever! ", Berisha said.
