'Ping pong' with Veliaj's delegates, Berisha: These are functions

The leader of the Democrats, Sali Berisha, has commented on the dismissal of the acting leader, Anuela Ristani, with the signature of Erion Veliaj.

Berisha, from the meeting with the residents of Unit No. 8, said that the appointment and dismissal of the appointed chairmen is the function of the Council, and not of Rama or Veliaj.

"One appoints Anuela Ristan, the other dismisses her. Veliaj dismisses her and appoints another. Those are functions of the Municipal Council, not Rama or Veliaj. Find out where Tirana and the municipality are? In whose hands are they?" he said.
