Democratic Party spokesperson Floriana Garo has publicly introduced one of the key leaders of the American team leading the electoral campaign of the opposition coalition "Greater Albania". This is Philip Griffin, a consultant and part of Chris LaCivita's well-known team.

In a post on social media, Garo shared a photo with Griffin, revealing that he is one of three American strategists engaged in this campaign, who will follow the Democratic Party's electoral process from the beginning to the end of the May 11 race.

"The 3 Americans at the campaign headquarters," Garo writes alongside the photo, where he appears together with Philip Griffin and the director of the DP press office, Alfred Lela.

Chris LaCivita, a well-known Republican strategist in the US and currently part of Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign team, has been hired by the Albanian opposition to lead and advise the campaign for the local elections in Albania. The hiring of such names comes as part of the Democratic Party's efforts to professionalize and internationalize its political campaign.

The "Greater Albania" coalition, led by Sali Berisha and supported by prominent opposition figures, aims to challenge the government in the upcoming elections, which are considered crucial for the country's political direction.
