The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, declares that tourism in the country has fallen and one of the reasons is the high prices.

From the civic gathering, Berisha said that the prices in Albania are up to 250% more than in Italy, Greece, Germany and other countries. 

Berisha : My friends, this is a super emergency situation.
This fabulous wealth, in complete barbarism, has turned into a terrible fine for the Albanians.

But why has tourism fallen?
They deceive about tourism from morning to dinner and do not tell them the truth.
Tourism has fallen, not because the Voluntaries are in a hole and are out of their minds. There may be speculators, there may be abuses.
But the truth is that the prices, you who shop every day in supermarkets, in fruit and vegetable warehouses, should know that 80-90 percent of what you buy are imports.
And you should know that their prices in Albania are from 10 to 250 percent more than in Italy, Greece, Germany, France or other countries.
That's why it's not the Vlonjats who are stupid, but you are a thief without morals who only knows how to steal and is destroying Albania.
Of course, if you massively evict Albanians from Albania, there is no work force left because they do not like working for three months, temporary work as a whole.
And to hire them, you have to pay them a much higher salary.
I do not say that there are no speculators, but I do not say that the reason for the increase in prices is not the terrible increase in prices.
To the catastrophic decline of agricultural production.
I know that billions come into agriculture from tourism, but the problem is how much goes to the ordinary citizen, to the one who doesn't have a hotel, to the one who doesn't have a motel, to the one who lives on his salary and buys food every day.
