Report on Albania, Bumçi: DASH gave a strong slap to the government

The member of the PD leadership, Aldo Bumçi, commented on the DASH report on Albania.

In Syri TV, Bumçi said that the report suggests to American companies that they should include international arbitration in their contracts because the judicial system due to inefficiency does not protect their investments.

"One sentence that can summarize the DASH report is the conclusion that Albania is a difficult place to do business. With this sentence, we have shown the failure at the end of the Rama government's third term.

Being a difficult place to do business means that the engine of the economy does not work, there is no hope for development and economic well-being, and the report talks about corruption and mentions the areas where corruption severely damages the climate of doing business.

Corruption in public procurements, in the delays in granting permits and licenses that leads to the withdrawal of the investor, these findings are given with facts, we are talking about entire sectors of the economy that have come out of the field of economic competition through public private partnership.

There is talk of frequent differences in the rules of the game, problems with property titles, where Albania is ranked 97th in respect of property titles.

The report suggests that American companies should include international arbitration in their contracts because the judicial system due to inefficiencies does not protect their investments."
