Shpëtim Idrizi: The agreement with the DP is a matter of days, I prefer to run in these two regions
The head of PDIU, Shpëtim Idrizi stated that the agreement with the Democratic Party is a matter of days, as the discussions are towards concretization.
He adds that the agreements for forming a coalition with the DP are not about arranging candidates for MPs somewhere in an area but the goal is to create a synergy and trust.
Regarding the district where he will run in the April 25 elections, Idrizi told "Report Tv" that he prefers to be part of the lists in Tirana or Vlora, where he believes he has the greatest weight.
"This is good news that some of the leaders of the opposition parties have reached an agreement with the PD while the PDIU is in the process of defining and concluding this agreement. The PDIU has become part of the united opposition in 2018.
We are in the stage of negotiations to make a joint list of the opposition front towards the common goal, the victory on April 25. It is an agreement and discussion in the complex. We have not entered with certain names and areas.
If I were to ask for a personal preference, the districts of Vlora and Tirana would be very good, but this will be seen in the common dynamics. PDIU adds valence to produce additional mandates. "We have an agreement with the DP, but we will also take into account the sensitivities, the weight, the preservation of the causes" , said Idrizi.
So far, the leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha, has closed the agreement with 3 allies, Agron Duka, Dashamir Shehin and Nard Ndoka.
