Teliti from the protest in front of the town hall: The citizens of Tirana want justice, the money should not be stolen
Today, the opposition held another protest in front of the Tirana City Hall, where citizens gathered to demand Veliaj's resignation.
The member of the Municipal Council, Dorian Teliti, said during his speech that the citizens of Tirana want justice so that their money is not stolen, but returned to services.
From missing water supply to education tax, Teliti listed some of the problems that require urgent solutions.
"They forget that we will withdraw from the resistance, we have been here for 25 weeks and we will be here every week until the goal is reached. The citizens of Tirana want justice, fair management, money not to be stolen but returned to services.
Many of you have taken your children to schools and kindergartens and what we have seen is unfavorable conditions where learning takes place in two shifts, not enough kindergartens. The money was paid, but it was stolen with the incinerators, with 5D and tens and tens of millions of euros with non-compete contracts.
We pay for water 44% higher and we don't have water, we pay taxes and education and we don't have education, Tirana is not better than before, but their opinion is only concreting and money laundering", declared Teliti.
