Teliti: Veliaj will be processed in the coming days by SPAK, we have information

The vice president of the Municipal Council of Tirana, Dorian Teliti, spoke about the eighth consecutive opposition protest at the Municipality of Tirana.

Invited to A2 CNN, Teliti said that these protests have pushed SPAK to take other steps regarding the investigation of the Tirana incinerator. Teliti said that in the coming days Veliaj is expected to be criminally prosecuted.

"Veliaj continues to be the mayor and the municipal council continues to be in office, although it is not performing the same functions, it is true that Veliaj continues to reject the constitutional demands, at least to help where the millions of euros have gone, how is it possible that the directors had set up businesses even within the municipality. He says that he is not guilty, but he is responsible for setting up this system. The municipality has no transparency.

We ask Veliaj for answers to many questions. We will protest and we believe we will find wider support. These protests have also pushed SPAK to take other steps. We have information that Erion Veliaj will be processed in the coming days ," said Teliti
