The European Political Committee meeting in Tirana is postponed to May 16
The European Political Committee has set a new date for its next meeting in Tirana, moving it from May 9 to May 16. This change comes after objections from the opposition, which argued that organizing such an event on the eve of the May 11 parliamentary elections could affect their outcome.
The opposition has emphasized that the inclusion of a meeting of such political importance, just two days before the elections, would create an unfair context for the electoral race and could be perceived as favoritism for the current government.
The European Political Committee meeting is expected to bring together important European and regional leaders to discuss key international policy issues and developments in the Western Balkans.
