Shadows of a former minister who will lead the anti-corruption commission

Today, the content of the draft proposed by the Socialist Party for good governance and the deepening of anti-corruption, which received 67 SP votes in Monday's session in the Assembly, was revealed .

The draft for this commission has been determined in the agenda for tomorrow's session of the Assembly, but it may be postponed because the opposition has warned that it will boycott the vote.

The Special Commission will consist of 11 members, of which 6 are representatives of the parliamentary majority and 5 of the opposition, representatives of the parliamentary minority, however the democrats have been unified in their approach against the anti-corruption commission requested by the majority.

Meanwhile, the name of the Socialist MP, former Minister of the Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj is one of the names that is being talked about, but he himself, when asked by Report TV, neither denied nor affirmed.

The shadows of the former minister Xhafaj

At a time when Fatmir Xhafaj led the Ministry of Internal Affairs and had strict control over the Order and Criminal Police, the scandal broke right in his family.

This is because his brother, Geron alias Agron Xhafaj, was sentenced in Italy to 7 years and 2 months of imprisonment for the charge of "Drug Trafficking" carried out in cooperation and participation in a criminal group.

At that time, a surprising belief was created that the Minister of the Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj, who controlled the entire criminal police apparatus, was not in a position to arrest his brother, whom his Italian partners wanted to put in prison.

The story with the famous "Babalja" audio-tap where it was rumored that his brother Agron (Geron) Xhafaj was involved, the subsequent voluntary departure of the latter to Italy to serve his sentence in the neighboring country, were the most delicate moment at the top of this post.

As if this were not enough, the Xhafaj family is shocked again by the suicide of the personal guard, within the premises of the Republic Guard.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, even after leaving the post of minister, Xhafaj made sure that the package of the officers of Operation Force of Law did not go to the address of Geron Xhafaj and his family members.

Wherever the criminal went to the OFL, surprisingly no letter and no verification of the assets of Geron Xhafaj and his family members was carried out.

This case showed the best that the OFL operation acted with two standards.

However, Xhafaj and the other members have not yet been formalized as part of this commission, which has ignited debates between the majority and the opposition.
