The Durrës police have handcuffed a young man and detained his brother in connection with an accident resulting in the death of a person on June 15. 

According to the police, 77-year-old Zylyf Këlliçi was killed in an accident on the Plepa-Shkozet axis by the vehicle driven by . S., 29 years old, resident in Tirana. 

"Following the investigative actions carried out by the Durrës Prosecutor's Office, to clarify the circumstances of the accident that occurred around 11:00 on 15.06.2024, in neighborhood no. 13, as a result of which the citizen ZK lost his life, 77 years old, the specialists of the Traffic Police Sector: -executed the prosecutor's order, for the arrest of the citizen AS, 29 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Violation of traffic rules" resulting in death and "Leaving the scene of the accident ";

- they stopped the 29-year-old's brother, a citizen of MP, 25 years old, after the statement of the citizen of AS that at the time of the accident, the vehicle was driven by a citizen of MP' , the police informs.

In the meantime, investigative actions continue to find criminal responsibility for these citizens.
