He is accused of abuse of office, the hearing for Safet Gjicin is postponed

The hearing against former Kukës Municipality Mayor Safet Gjici, in the Special Anticorruption Appeal, has been postponed.

The black squads postponed the session on June 20, due to the non-appearance of Alma Kaçi.

Safet Gjici was sentenced on February 7 of this year by the first degree to 3 years in prison, on application of the trial shortened to 2 years, under the charge of "abuse of duty".

In addition to the sentence, the Special Anticorruption Court deprived Gjic of the right to exercise public functions for 5 years.

As for Alma Kaçi, the court imposed a sentence of 1 year and 6 months, with a shortened trial, the sentence was reduced to 1 year of imprisonment. The charge of "Prostitution" was raised against the latter.
