Suel Çela has appealed the first security measure "prison arrest" imposed in May 2022 at the Special Court.

Çela was declared wanted after the testimony of Nuredin Dumani. According to SPAK, he ordered the murder of businessman Lulzim Masha near the Artificial Lake in Tirana. He is also suspected of having ordered the murder of Elton Kilë.
