Viktor Leki, 59 years old, was arrested for the purpose of extradition.
Leki has been declared an international wanted man after the Lecce Court has sentenced him to 8 years and 4 months of imprisonment for the criminal offense of "Participation in a criminal group, with the aim of drug trafficking".
"DVP Durrës, as a result of the exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, located and arrested, for the purpose of extradition to Italy, citizen Viktor Leki, 59 years old.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Court of Lecce, Italy, with the decision dated 06.03.2018, sentenced him to 8 years and 4 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offense of "Participation in a criminal group, with the purpose of drug trafficking".
The procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy are continuing ," the police announced.
