Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha has shown the 4 names of wanted persons from Albania and other EU countries, whom Dubai has refused to extradite.
Invited to ABC News, Hoxha said that the first is Eldi Dizdari, otherwise known as the head of the Albanian drug cartel. According to the journalist, Italy also tried to extradite Dizdar, but it was unsuccessful.
The second on the list is Plarent Dervishaj, connected to several criminal events in Albania. Dervishaj was caught by police in Dubai as he prepared to travel to Turkey.
The third person is Florenc Çapja, accused of murdering Nezir and Gentian Beqiraj in Elbasan. Çapja was detained and held for several days by the Dubai Police and then released with the security measure "Compulsion to appear".
Keli i Kombinat is the fourth announced in search by Albania and Belgium. Again, Dubai has not accepted Keli's extradition.
