Open Balkans / Civic: It is we who are moving towards the Serbian market;

Economics expert and professor Ardian Civici invited to the show 'Politiko' in Top News says that our country has increased imports from Serbia from year to year.

Speaking about the 'Open Balkans' initiative, Gjergj Buxhuk, General Administrator of the Confederation of Industries of Albania, also became part of the conversation, noting the role of Serbia in this project, saying that it is not even part of the organization. world trade.

Civici: Given that we have a flawed economy it is easily competitive. If we negotiate as with the EU, we will also negotiate subsidy policies.

Compared to the period of 4 months 2021, 4 months 2022 has over 50 million euros increase in imports to Serbia, we are moving towards the Serbian market. Let's see the Open Balkans as an initiative to create a trade space.

Buxhuku: I want to mention a detail that has not been made known. Serbia is not part of the world trade organization. So this shows the low level of negotiating groups in the Open Balkans.
