The former chief prosecutor of the USA, Mattheë Whitaker, has spoken about the political process to the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

In an interview on Syri TV, Whitaker stated that this case cannot happen in America.

"Obviously in the United States of America this would not happen, because we have the right to due process of law, for every accused person, for every person who is investigated. There are constitutional rights that apply in laws and courts.

I think it is difficult to compare two legal systems.

I am an American lawyer and have no experience in your justice system. I think there are basic fundamental, legal principles that should be universal. Express does not work in other countries.
