Covid-19 balance: 15 loss of life and 446 new cases in the last 24 hours, tests

15 people aged 40-85 have lost their lives from Covid-19 in Albania.

The Ministry of Health in the daily report announces that after performing 2997 tests resulted in 446 new cases.

 Currently 440 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals, 33 in intensive therapy, of which 15 patients are intubated.

Confirmed positive cases have been identified in the following municipalities: 135 cases in Tirana, 34 cases in Shkodra, 26 cases in Durres, 19 cases in Fier, 17 cases in Mirdita, Gjirokastra, 16 cases in Lezha, 14 cases in Kavaja, 13 cases in Korça, Vlora, Berat, Kuçovë, 10 cases in Krujë, 7 cases Ura Vajgurore, 6 cases in Devoll, Kukës, Pogradec, 5 cases in Lushnje, Saranda, Vau i Dejës, Dibër, 4 cases in Librazhd, Përmet, Tepelena, Peqin, Shijak, 3 cases in Kurbin, Elbasan, Has, Puka, Mallakastër, Prrenjas, Memaliaj, Skrapar, 2 cases in Tropoja, Fushë Arrëz, Selenica, Roskovec, Kolonjë, 1 case in Kamëz, Delvinë, Divajkë, Belsh, Gramsh, Poliçan, Libohovë.

In the last 24 hours, 744 citizens have been cured, bringing the number of cured to 82,554 since the beginning of the epidemic.

Currently 440 patients are being treated in COVID hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals, 33 in intensive therapy, of which 15 patients are intubated.

Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 15 citizens lost the battle with COVID19: 5 citizens from Tirana, 3 citizens from Fieri, 2 citizens from Tepelena, 1 citizen from Vlora, 1 citizen from Shkodra, 1 citizen from Elbasan, 1 citizen from Pogradec , 1 citizen from Kavaja, aged 40- 85 years.

The anti-COVID vaccination process continues in centralized vaccination centers as well as in schools for teachers. "During today, 3338 anti-Covid vaccinations have been carried out and since the beginning of the vaccination, 33,369 vaccinations have been carried out for health personnel, the elderly and teachers ", the ministry announces.
