The arrested businessman talks about getting to know the former deputy minister: I met him after 20 years, we didn't talk about sterilization

Arrested businessman Ilir Rrapaj testified at the Health Commission for Check Up and Sterilization where he told about his acquaintance with the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj.

Rrapaj said that he met Beqaj for the first time after 20 years in an activity organized by the Albanian government in 2013-2014. According to him, they did not talk about the sterilization concession, denying having knowledge of Beqaj's treatment in Italy.

Rrapaj: The word friend has a special definition in the context and contours of Albanianism, being a friend is something rare, while I believe it is the most misused term intentionally or unintentionally, I have had no opportunity and no kind of recognition.

Rrapaj: We came from different schools, we came from different years, I met him after 20 years.

Vokshi: Did you talk about the sterilization concession?

Rrapaj: Absolutely not.

Vokshi: You didn't know each other, but you used fratelo terms.

Rrapaj: We are from Vlora.

Vokshi: Did you know Ilir Beqaj?

Rrapaj: I know who he was as a public figure. We didn't have friendship.

Vokshi: Didn't you help the minister get cured in one of the hospitals in Italy?

Rrapaj: No, I haven't been, I'm sorry that I haven't been. I have no connection

Vokshi: Do you know about a house that Beqaj bought in Italy?

Rrapaj: What knowledge should I have? I don't have.
