Violence against the 3-year-old/, Robert Aliaj: The law must make an example

The well-known artist Robert Aliaj has commented on the serious case of rape to the point of breaking the leg of a 3-year-old girl in a private garden in the capital by her teacher.

Speaking to News24, he described the event as shocking, while he was firm in his position that the law in this case must be applied ironically to set an example.

Aliaj said that Albanian society, for historical reasons, inherits an underestimation of human life, connecting it to the specific case.

" It is shocking, it is a completely illogical situation. I was very moved and shocked by these sights. The law must be applied in the most ironic way to set an example in a society that, for historical reasons, inherits a certain underestimation of the life of others.

In that garden there is a social cell that shows how we function as a society. We are a society very burdened with these events. We are getting ordinary cases and there should be a reaction" , he said, among other things.
