Violence and "tapping" at the wheel, AMP arrests two officers

The Police Supervision Agency (AMP) has arrested two state security employees in Tirana on charges of committing criminal offenses.

The first is the Guard employee, Inspector EI, suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Opposition of an employee performing a state duty or a public service", "Opposition of a police officer" and "Violent acts in sports activities".

The arrest was made following investigations conducted in collaboration with Police Station No. 4 regarding the event of 09/02/2025, where during a football match a violent clash occurred between fans, causing physical injuries to several people, including a security guard and a police officer.

AMP has also arrested police officer ML, at the Vora Police Station, suspected of "Irregular Driving". His arrest was made after on 08/02/2025, at 19:00, on the Marikaj - Vora secondary road, he caused a car accident and tested positive for alcohol, with a level of 1.06mg/l.

The two arrests are part of the intensified actions of the Police Supervision Agency to improve public order and safety.
