The mother of the sentenced to life sentenced to life changed her life on the day of the day.

The perpetrator of the august 2009 murder of four policemen, called for release from his cell on the pretense of having completed his 25-year prison sentence, a decision issued by the Appeals Court, which accepted his request for a short trial.

"From the content of the letter "Dynamics of punishment for the convict" results that from the date of arrest, dated 07.08.2009, until 30.04.2024 the convict has suffered a total of 24 (twenty-four) years, 8 (eight) months and 13 (thirteen) days", the request for release from the cell reads.

Also, Dritan Dajti and the new lawyer Alban Kapxhiu, have requested on July 4, 2024 to the director of Peqini prison to issue an order to perform the release procedure.

"But as it turns out, although Dritan Dajti has completed the execution of the sentence sentence with 25 years imprisonment, the Director of I.E.V.P.Peqin, Mr. Florenc Doka, has not yet issued a written order for the institution's staff to carry out the actions for his release," the letter reads.

But the Court of Appeal's decision on Dritan Dajti's 25-year prison sentence was struck down by the Supreme Court, which has returned to prison for life with a ruling dated June 11.

Dritan Dajti was on the verge of release from the cell, but the Prosecution in March 2019 appealed the decision of the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes, which decided to accept the request for the shortened trial of Dritan Dajti and reduced his sentence to 25 years in prison.

"The breakdown of decision no.13, dated 08.02.2019 of the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes and the decision no.95, dated 23.07.2014 of the Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes" stated in the notification of the High Court that returns to prison for life the perpetrator of the murder of four police officers
