New details have come to light about the accident that happened this afternoon on the road axis Pogradec-Qafë Plloçë.

The police clarified that a vehicle hit 40-year-old Florant Pllana to death near the place called "Ura e Leshnica" and the driver left the scene.

" At around 18:25, on the road axis "Korçë-Pogradec", in the place called "Ura e Leshnica", a 40-year-old FP citizen, a resident of Petrushë, was found dead. From the first actions carried out at the scene and the preliminary examination of the body, it is suspected that he was involved in an accident by a vehicle that left the scene ", the police explained.

It was learned that the dead body of the 40-year-old was found on the side of the road by the blue uniforms.

At the scene is the investigative group that, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident, identify the vehicle and its driver.

In the meantime, the police services are continuing the checks in service stations and various premises along the entire Korçë-Pogradec road axis and in the surrounding villages, with the aim of finding the vehicle and arresting the driver.
