Fredi Beleri is sworn in today as an MEP in the European Parliament

The European Parliament will be constituted today in the first meeting after the June elections.

The 720 elected legislators will be sworn in and take office today in Strasbourg. Even Fredi Beleri will be present at the swearing-in ceremony. Beler was granted a 5-day leave by the Directorate of Prisons to be sworn in as an MEP.

He temporarily left the premises of the Fier prison yesterday and went to Athens where he held a meeting with the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
