One case of exploitation for prostitution is hit in Tirana, three in handcuffs

Tirana Police has hit a case of exploitation for prostitution and three people have been handcuffed.

“ Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Commissariat no. 6, in cooperation with the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Tirana, following the work to crack down on illegality, after several months of investigative work, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed 'Compensation'.

As part of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

- AZ, 24 years old, resident in Vishnje, Tirana, for the criminal offense 'Exploitation of prostitution';

- EH, 33 years old, resident in Kombinat, for the criminal offense 'Prostitution';

- Xh. T., 33 years old, resident in Kukës, for the criminal offense 'Prostitution'.

From the investigative actions carried out, it has resulted that the citizen EH, was exercising the illegal activity of prostitution with different clients against monetary rewards, while the citizen AZ, was mediating with the clients " , announces the police.

Under the direction of the Prosecution, the work continues for the complete documentation and identification of other persons involved in this illegal activity.

The materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Tirana Court of First Instance, for further procedural actions.
