Armed attack on TCH, the State Police offers a 100,000 euro reward for the identification of the perpetrators

Following the notification given on the morning of 27.03.2023, about the event that took place in Mëzez, where a firearm was fired at the Top Channel television building and as a result the security worker, citizen Pal Kola, was killed. inform as follows:

On 27.03.2023, at around 00:30, unidentified citizens shot with AK-47 automatic firearms in the direction of the Top Channel building, and as a result, citizen Pal Kola, 61 years old, was killed. The front facade of the television building was damaged by the shooting, as well as two vehicles parked in the yard. 

From the investigative actions carried out so far, it appears that at 00:27 on 27.03.2023, the perpetrators' vehicle was caught by security cameras in the area of ​​Kashari. This vehicle moved on the secondary road of the Durrës-Tirana highway, it came out in front of the Top Channel television building and at that moment the perpetrators shot in the direction of the television building.

The perpetrators, after firing firearms, quickly left again via the road they came in, towards Durrës, and at 00:36 they were caught by security cameras in the area of ​​Kashari. At 00:55, the services of the Kavajë Police Station received a notification about the burning of a vehicle, on the Durrës-Rrogozhinë highway, in the place called "Agait Stream". 

Immediately after receiving the notification about the incident, numerous services of the Tirana Local Police Directorate went to the scene, as well as checkpoints were organized on all the country's road axes.

The investigative group was formed under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Tirana and all the necessary investigative actions were carried out, at the scene of the incident and at the place where the vehicle was burned.

From the investigative actions at the scene, 25 model 56 cartridges, 5 shells and 9 fragments of combat ammunition were found and seized as material evidence. Television security cameras were examined and seized, as well as some security cameras of private entities around the scene and in the direction of movement of the vehicle used by the perpetrators. At the scene of the burning of the vehicle, the burned vehicle and a model 56 shell, which was found outside the vehicle, were seized. Inside the vehicle, 2 AK-47 firearms were found and seized as material evidence, as well as other items related to the vehicle, such as the vehicle's first license plate, 4 model 56 cartridges that burst as a result of burning, etc.

Nga ekspertimi i provave të sekuestruara në të dyja vendngjarjet, ka rezultuar se  autorët i kanë përdorur të dyja armët e zjarrit, ku 20 gëzhoja janë qitur nga një armë zjarri dhe 6 gëzhoja janë qitur nga arma tjetër. Për provat e tjera të sekuestruara janë përgatitur vendimet e ekspertimit dhe nga Instituti i Policisë Shkencore vazhdon puna për ekzaminimin e tyre.

Automjeti i përdorur nga autorët është i tipit “Range Rover Sport”, me ngjyrë kafe, i cili ka rezultuar i vjedhur më datë 10.07.2020, në fshatin Tale  të Lezhës. Ky automjet i është vjedhur një shtetasi kosovar, i cili ishte me pushime në këtë zonë, ndërsa targat e automjetit “AA 456 HC”, janë  kallëzuar të vjedhura më datë 31.12.2022, në qytetin e Tiranës.

Më datë 27.03.2023, në orën 19:00, nën drejtimin e drejtuesit të Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Rrethit Gjyqësor Tiranë është zhvilluar një analizë e detajuar e veprimeve hetimore të kryera, janë përcaktuar versionet hetimore dhe një grup i posaçëm hetimor po vazhdon kryerjen e veprimeve hetimore të deleguara me qëllim zbardhjen e ngjarjes, identifikimin dhe vënien përpara përgjegjësisë ligjore të autorëve.
